CORONAVIRUS: US RELAXES GAY BLOOD DONATION LAWS

Due to the unprecedented demand on blood supplies in the US, the Food and Drug Administration has announced a significant loosening of eligibility for blood donations from gay and bisexual men.

This is an issue Mark Ward has been raising awareness of for many years. He was asked for his input by the Department of Public Health in England to assist in their work on lowering the timescale for deferral from 12 to 3 months.
