Pride Cymru / Cardiff Pride 2016
The Pride Cymru Parade will return for its fifth year running, bigger, better, and more colourful than ever through Cardiff City Centre!
The parade will kickstart the Pride festival celebrations on Saturday 13th August 2016, at the top of Queen Street and Sainsburys.
Final registration takes place from 10:30am and the parade will step off at 11am from Capitol Shopping Centre.
The parade is best described as a melting pot of colour, offering a fun and energetic atmosphere, entertainment, friendship and unity.
The parade will end around 12am and disperse towards Coopers Field adjacent to Cardiff Castle where the festivities continues with Pride Cymru’s multi-stage event. A celebration not to be missed!
Families, individuals, groups, organisations, all are welcome to join the walking parade to showcase the true diversity and equality across Wales.

Pride Cymru welcomes a diverse and talented Main Stage line-up supported this year by the Community Stage, Dance Arena, Family and Youth Area, Vintage Tea Rooms, Faith Tent, plus the first ever PugFest Pride!
Actress, singer and LGBT activist Heather Peace will be performing, along with Britain’s Got Talent Semi-finalist Danny Beard, Eurovision’s UK entry duo Joe and Jake and nineties girl group, Big Reunion stars B*Witched and BBC The Voice UK Semi-finalist Jordan Gray (also known as Tall Dark Friend) and Voice UK contestant Leighton Jones.
Expect fairground rides, food and drink, an assortment of market stalls, plus loads more attractions to be announced in the run up to the big day.
We strive to ensure our events are accessible to all and are very proud of the fact we are the first Pride event in the UK to be accredited with a Silver Award by ‘Attitude is Everything’ as a result of the work we carried out at Pride Cymru 2015 in terms of improving accessibility for deaf and disabled attendee’s. We’re further improving this work for our 2016 event.
