Join us for full live coverage from the parade and festivities on the Green as Glasgow celebrates Pride.
Glasgow celebrates Pride 2017 today with the celebrations including the annual march through the city and party on Glasgow Green.

The route is: Glasgow Green Greendyke St, Saltmarket, Trongate, Albion St, Ingram St, South Frederick St, George Sq Sth, St Vincent Pl, St Vincent St, Renfield St, Union St, Jamaica St, Clyde St, Bridgegate, Steel St, Turnbull St, Greendyke St.
The Parade takes place on Saturday 19th of August 2017 from Glasgow Green at 12pm. All participants must be in place by 11.45am
The Parade is open to individuals, community groups, charities, LGBT Venues and businesses. Individuals do not need to register to take part and just need to turn up on the day.
SAFETY
It is in everyone’s best interest for you to stay safe at Pride, we have compiled some information on how to do so and includes a list of items banned from the festival.
We advise everyone attending that there will be a full bag search policy in place, therefore you are asked only to bring essential bags. Bags should be smaller than an A3 sheet of paper.
Ourselves, Police Scotland and Serenity Security advise you purchase your tickets in advance and exchange them for your wristband prior to the event. Full information on how to purchase and exchange are on the attached link.
