6 rules for mens underwear – what you’re doing wrong and how to fix it!

Because no one likes a soggy bottom…

Too tight, too loose, too dirty (ew) – here are the rules to buying a good pair of pants and what you’re doing wrong already!

It’s all about the fit.

If you get your pants a size too small, they’ll just enhance those extra tyres sitting on top of your waistline and that excess fat around the legs (it’s leg day calling, it misses you), buy your pants too big and you’ll end up looking as though you’re sporting a pair of your dads old y-fronts and no one, we repeat no one, likes a soggy bottom, right Mary Berry? Your underwear should be snug but not tight and the sign of truly comfortable under garments are the ones you forget once its on (unless it’s naughty underwear, then a cheeky reminder is always welcome).

Replace, renew, restock. OFTEN.

Another turn off is old pants; stripping a guy down to reveal faded, baggy, moth eaten underwear is just like asking not to get laid. Instead, buy a few pairs every so often to keep your drawer stocked up and throw old ones away accordingly.

The question of boxers.

Unless you’re built like Hugh Jackman and literally have claws coming from your fingers, then we don’t really think loose boxer shorts look sexy/manly/attractive on anyone. Instead head for a style a bit more fitted to show off the goods.

Novelty? No thank you.

Unless it’s Christmas and your gift was 13 cats and you’re planning to die alone, novelty under crackers are not the safest option. The only way we can see it working is if your personality is so attractive that we don’t see the Christmas lights shining out from your ass.

Who are you wearing?

Or in this case, what? Think of your pants when getting dressed in the morning; a pair of boxers bunched under some skinny jeans isn’t going to look good or feel comfortable, and neither is a thong at the gym, unless you’re looking for friction burns in all the wrong places.

Lastly, don’t forget it.

It’s there for a reason and get it right and it can look hot as hell! Although if all of the above rules sounded like utter nonsense then you’re probably better without it.
